Madrid Declaration

The Madrid Declaration proposes to all inhabitants' organisations, networks and urban social movements the creation in 2011 of the World Assembly of Inhabitants in order to clear the way for the creation of the 'Via Urbana'.

После успешного проведения Дней Без Выселений, продолжается подготовка к Мировой Ассамблее Жильцов (WAI). Ассамблея состоится в Дакаре в 2011 году. В нескольких странах было создано несколько Комитетов Содействия, и создание других комитетов на каждом континенте стоит на повестке дня: в частности, есть планы по созданию комитетов по проведению Социальных Форумов в этом году.
Эти подготовительные работы нацелены на проведение мероприятия в Рио-де-Жанейро (22-26 марта 2010 года). Оно будет включать Городской Социальный Форум (USF), организованный местными социальными движениями и международными сетевыми организациями по защите жилищных прав, и Мировой Городской Форум 5 (WUF5), организованный консультативной организацией ООН – Среда Обитания (UN-Habitat).
